Wonderful Copenhagen is a city of bridge-spanned canals, copper-roofed buildings and manicured parks. This famous Baltic seaport is one of Europe’s loveliest capitals and the seat of the oldest monarchy in the world. Copenhagen is a focus for commerce, culture, industry and cosmopolitan atmosphere. The locale of Hans Christian Andersen’s enchanting tale of The Little Mermaid, Copenhagen is known as Denmark’s fairy-tale city. Berlin (Warnemünde) | Sunday, Jun 29, 2025 | Sunday, Jun 29, 2025 |
Warnemünde is the gateway to Germany's capital. The fall of the Berlin Wall in November of 1989 was a conspicuous and symbolic end to the era of the "Iron Curtain". For 45 years, Berlin had existed as a city divided. Today, with the Brandenburg Gate open once more, Berlin thrives with new life, yet it is not quite totally reunited. Like twins who've been separated for many years, it will take awhile to get to know one another again. From the Brandenburg Gate, Unter den Linden leads to the heart of old Berlin with its Prussian palaces and monuments. Venerable Humboldt Universitat nurtured some of Germany's greatest thinkers, including Hegel, Einstein, the Brothers Grimm, and Karl Marx. Wander through Spandau Zitadelle, a medieval fortress surrounded by placid waters, where the 13th-century Juliusturm Tower guards long-dead stories of past glories. For a taste of Berlin's creative side, sample the cafes and clubs of Kreuzberg.

Often referred to as "Pearl of the Baltic," this neat city is known for impressive architecture, wide boulevards, and beautiful harbor. Grand Senate Square, dominated by exquisite Tuomio Church and onion domes of Russian Orthodox Uspenski Cathedral, is an example of neo-Classical, Empire-style impressive architecture. Visit the lively harborfront market and Temppeliaukioa Church (Rock Church), which was created in the 60's from man-made and natural materials. Finland’s musical heritage comes alive in great Finlandia Hall, designed by renowned architect Alvar Aalto. Finland’s beloved composer, Jean Sibelius, is remembered by a beautiful monument on Helsinki’s outskirts. Helsinki has good museums displaying everything from art to architectural design. Open-air Museum - the small wooded island of Seurasaari - has a collection of vernacular buildings assembled from all over Finland which provide insight into how country folk lived until recently. Suomenlinna Fortress is the largest in the world and often called Gibraltar of the North.

Cons: Limited entertainment and nightlife options, Not ideal for families or active cruisers — tours were a relaxed pace
Review: This sailing was a reminder of how well Regent understands its guests and consistently delivers a personalized, elevated experience. The crew was, without question, the highlight. From the moment we boarded, every interaction felt genuine and attentive. Whether it was a suite attendant who knew our names by day one, a restaurant server who remembered our dining preferences, the service was intuitive and warm across the board. Suites were spacious and comfortable, with walk-in closets, marble bathrooms, and plenty of room to unwind — even in the lead-in categories. The ship’s smaller size meant easy navigation and a peaceful onboard ambiance, without crowds or lines. Dining in Compass Rose was a standout. The customizable menu made it easy to tailor meals to individual tastes, and the quality and presentation were consistently excellent. The itinerary was thoughtfully designed, with a new port to explore every day. There was plenty of time for both half-day excursions and independent exploration, as well as opportunities for full-day tours in select destinations.
Despite the title of this review, there were many exceptions where the staff went over and above. Dede at the pool bar, Predrag at the Navigator lounge and pool bar and Marlyn at Compass Rose were outstanding. Also sommelier Donovan went above and beyond. But we had extremely slow service-on at least two occasions we provided our drink/wine orders to no less than four different servers before receiving anything. Food orders were mixed and matched more than once. Several waiters were abrupt/snippy and seemed hurried at times and on island time at others. Not as consistently good as on other Regent cruises.

Cons: My cons are included with the pros above.
Review: Above. Cruise director Ray is very taken with himself. It’s all about Ray.
Excellence as usual from Regent re crew and staff, food and attention that everyone gave us on our last Voyage.
Pros: Excellence as usual from Regent re crew and staff, food and attention that everyone gave us on our last Voyage.
Cons: The Ship (Navigator) which is somewhat dated - our concierge suite showing wear, no modernization to bathroom and furnishing in suite, Also note the 14 or so layers of white paint piled on everywhere to cover up its age obviously.t
Review: We docked next to a "new" Carnival Cruise Line boat which looked outstanding next to ours - just in its newness. We are loyal to Regent only - we just need to travel on your newer vessels to experience the total quality Regent is know for !
The crew
Pros: The crew
Cons: The ship
Review: It was a rocky first week with the ship rocking due to wind. The Navigator is a 25 year old small ship not originally built for cruising. There is a vibration in the aft part of the ship due to engine and propeller noise. That said, we were treated royally by a crew that is dedicated to making your trip one to remember. The facilities are well done and beautifully maintained. So if you want a great trip with wonderful people and don't mind the motion, this is your cruise ship. Just book a cabin mid to forward.
The ship is lovely & small. More Europeans than Americans. Better food than on previous Regent cruise.
Pros: The ship is lovely & small. More Europeans than Americans. Better food than on previous Regent cruise.
Cons: No promenade deck. No outlet in bathroom for appliances. A 5 piece band is not an orchestra.
Review: The officers on this ship were always out and about and very approachable. I believe that the tone of the ship is set from the top down and the crew was wonderful.
Excellent staff, accommodations, entertainment and cuisine
Pros: Excellent staff, accommodations, entertainment and cuisine
Cons: None to mention
Review: Wonderful experience!
Crew, Dining
Pros: Crew, Dining
Cons: None
Review: Great itinerary and weather was great
Small ship, easy on and off in ports, good itinerary, very good cabin attendant and butlers, good itinerary, excellent shows, Prime 7 always good in food and service
Pros: Small ship, easy on and off in ports, good itinerary, very good cabin attendant and butlers, good itinerary, excellent shows, Prime 7 always good in food and service
Cons: The coffee was almost undrinkable - tasted like dirty water, service in dining room sorely lacking. Food in main dining room very inconsistent. Overall not good value for money.
Review: Having sailed on other Regent ships this one does not measure up in terms of service, food or hardware. It is the oldest ship in the fleet and it shows. However, Regent makes it clear that the ship size has many loyal customers that like the size. I like the size as well but there are other options in this category that are much better.
Service is top notch!
Pros: Service is top notch!
Cons: Navigator needs to be dry docked and renovated. It's an old and tired looking ship. The chairs in the Coffee Connection need to be replaced ASAP. We witnessed 5 guests roll backwards in the chairs. They were very lucky no serious injuries occured.
Review: The cruise was fabulous, with service outstanding in every department. We felt the food was not up to par with a previous cruise we took to the Mediterranean cruise we took several years ago. Although the entertainment was very good, we felt it was not as good as on the Marina cruise to the Med several years ago. We would not book the Navigator ship again because of its age and need for refurbishment, but would love to book another cruise on a newer ship in Regent's fleet. The Grandeur ship sounds amazing!! Thank you for an amazing journey!!
There was nothing to criticize. I would have to get very picky to find something to complain about.
Pros: There was nothing to criticize. I would have to get very picky to find something to complain about.
Cons: Being very picky about my ice cream preferences ( Ben and Jerry's or Hagen Daz) I found the ice cream not creamy enough and sometimes icy.
Review: Regent has upped their game in terms of friendliness of all the staff members and willingness to be flexible if needed. Since they are all inclusive, everyone seemed to be participating in everything. They also seem to be attracting a younger clientele than in previous years. This was an active itinerary with only one day at sea and lots of wonderful ports. We couldn't get into Corner Brook, Newfoundland due to icebergs, so the Captain substituted Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island which was a great improvement in my opinion. It was a fabulous port.
Staff and crew, smaller ship, food/wine, entertainment, port talks
Pros: Staff and crew, smaller ship, food/wine, entertainment, port talks
Cons: Itinerary changes not communicated properly, both before sailing and during the voyage
Review:
Regent took great care of us on this excellent cruise to wonderful ports
Pros: Regent took great care of us on this excellent cruise to wonderful ports
Cons: Ship needs a little updating
Review: As usual on Regent, we expect excellence, and they deliver, so we keep coming back!
Food was exceptional; quaint small ship, not over crowded. Very relaxing. Excellent staff
Pros: Food was exceptional; quaint small ship, not over crowded. Very relaxing. Excellent staff
Cons: No evening buffet, only 1 show each night.
Review:
All beverages, excursions and gratuities are included which makes for a seamless and relaxing experience.
Pros: All beverages, excursions and gratuities are included which makes for a seamless and relaxing experience.
Cons: Prime 7 alternative dining was not as good as the other dining options. All guests I spoke to agreed on this. It did not live up to the expectations as presented by Regent.
Review: From the L'Occitane toiletries in the marble bathroom w tub and separate shower to the comfy pillow top bed with luxurious duvet bedding, the cabin on the Navigator offers 5* quality. The gourmet food served in the Compass Rose and Setti Mar is outstanding (and even the burgers at the pool grill were delicious). Whether at the pool, in one of the venues, or room service , the staff was attentive, quick and competent - and always polite and happy to assist. Guest average age was about 60 and included an extremely diverse group of people, many of whom are very well seasoned travelers (one with 900 days of cruising !).
Just everything. This was 3rd world cruising with all the attendant
Pros: Just everything. This was 3rd world cruising with all the attendant
Cons: VERY small things, e.g. I'm very short and used my ice bucket as a set to get onto the bed. Having a small step in the closet for use as needed would be great.
Review: This was my 6th Regent cruise, and I've already booked my 7th and purchased advance deposits for two more. I love the all inclusive approach, really enjoy having a crew all of whom seem happy to be there, and appreciated all that this cruise line is doing to keep their passengers and crew healthy. Regent has added more itineraries with a 25% solo supplement, which is a huge plus for me now that I've returned to travel after my husband (50 years together) passed away in 2020. They've also improved their wifi considerably so that we had coverage for much of the time that we were in the Amazon. Being able to purchase streaming levels of wifi bandwidth at a very reasonable price was also a huge plus. I have some mobility issues which makes selecting shore excursions a challenge, but the onboard destinations team worked hard to help me make the best available choices. It was a truly wonderful trip.
Smaller ship with fewer passengers. Attractive, clean, well-maintained. Cheerful, accommodating, hardworking staff and crew. Excellent food, wine and cocktails. Attractive stateroom, King bed, comfortable mattress and pillows, luxurious linens. Quality bathroom amenities. Espresso machine in stateroom. All-inclusive features — pre-cruise hotel package, transfers, unlimited shore excursions, free WiFi, etc.

Attractive stateroom, King bed, comfortable mattress and pillows, luxurious linens. Quality bathroom amenities. Espresso machine in stateroom. All-inclusive features — pre-cruise hotel package, transfers, unlimited shore excursions, free WiFi, etc.
Cons: Scaled down stateroom and balcony due to smaller size of ship. Smaller closet requiring creative use of available space. Insufficient number of standard electric outlets, so charging devices and camera was a challenge. Outlet in bathroom could not be used for hairdryer. Some (not all) of the shore excursions were disappointing and did not meet expectations due to performance of the tour guide, boring itinerary, and in one instance, an inferior meal.
Review: A very good choice for the first cruise taken after 3 years of pandemic restrictions. Complaints are minor in light of overall satisfaction with total experience.
Size of ship, staff, food, shore excursions, suite amenities and did I mention STAFF.
Pros: Size of ship, staff, food, shore excursions, suite amenities and did I mention STAFF.
Cons: Some food issues, nothing serious and of course missing 2 ports

Small ship, lovely cabins
Pros: Small ship, lovely cabins
Cons: The itinerary was changed and we did not visit four of the scheduled ports. The substitute ports were just fine but many passengers were disappointed that we did not go to St. Barths due to high winds.
Review: This was the first sailing of the Navigator and it was astonishing that everything went so smoothly. I had heard that the 56% of the staff was brand new to sailing but their training was fabulous. They used deck 5 for staff and upgraded all passengers to veranda cabins.
The staff are superb and work hard to make the voyage wonderful, excursions were very good and the food is delightful
Pros: The staff are superb and work hard to make the voyage wonderful, excursions were very good and the food is delightful
Cons: Older people should read the excursions very carefully. An excursion that sounds tough probably is.
Review: We cruised on Regent's Navigator. We have sailed on Navigator before. Great ship and not overcrowded. The food and wait staff are wonderful. We had absolutely no problems on board. This March they were 60 plus % full. Just getting back to full strength after Covid. We were tested by Regent as we were ready to leave the ship. The excursions were well planned and very interesting.
all-inclusive
Pros: all-inclusive
Cons: some shore excursions were broad overviews
Review:
itinerary great
Pros: itinerary great
Cons: if you don't drink you get less for your money
Review: few shops.with minimum buying supplies, tours average, onboard activities need boost, weather in Australia at that time is hot and wet otherwise itinerary great ,food is good, entertainment including speakers was excellent
passenger numbers and crew ratio excellent. All inclusive a bonus!
Pros: passenger numbers and crew ratio excellent. All inclusive a bonus!
Cons: needed a little more holiday spirit since it was a Holiday cruise
Review: Regent Cruises do not disappoint. The Navigator, one of the older vessels from Regent was updated and looked new and modern. The crew were EXCELLENT. Beds were very comfortable and cabins large even on Deck 5 which is entry level. Huge bathrooms and walk in closets. Food was just above average. Nothing extraordinary but very good. Ports were great, although weather not so great. But it was off season for Tahiti.
Autumn leaves then Bermuda for some warmth
Pros: Autumn leaves then Bermuda for some warmth
Cons: The new phone based audio tour system requires you take headphones
Review: Great cruise and fantastic it is all inclusive. The itinerary was varied and great! Crew very attentive. Relaxed cruise with fun tours at every stop. Dislike the idea you have to take headphones on their new experimental tour audio system.
all inclusive
Pros: all inclusive
Cons: no forward looking lounge
Review: our first experience with Regent and it was wonderful. Only complaint was that there was no forward looking lounge. We understand that this is the only ship that does not have one.

Excellent service
Pros: Excellent service
Cons: Not enough time for shopping during the excursions
Review: Great customer service. Food is great. The rooms are very large with walk-in closets and glass showers. The beds are very nice! Great to have business class travel. The cruise line meets you at the airport and takes you back to the airport at the end of the cruise. Great pre-cruise hotel and 5 star hotel in London.

Great itinerary and service plus excursions
Pros: Great itinerary and service plus excursions
Cons: Brown water intermittently
Review:
Everything about the ship was wonderful.
Pros: Everything about the ship was wonderful.
Cons: I would have like some healthier snack options available without asking. There were smoothies, but no protein powder or other additives to enhance them. A minor inconvenience.
Review: The cruise was 8 days at sea and the rest of the days in port. The shore excursions were excellent and highlighted the destinations, with both cultural, and water based activities. The staff, crew and officers were excellent. They were 100% efficient, and went out of the way to make sure that all of your needs were met. The food was delicious and was presented elegantly. Any dietary restrictions were met with ease. Accommodations were excellent and the room attendants, were always available.
Excellent cruse line and well trained staff...There were no overheard complaints about shore excursions, dinner reservations or food.
Pros: Excellent cruse line and well trained staff...There were no overheard complaints about shore excursions, dinner reservations or food.
Cons: If I had to point out something that was not completely clear according to some guests, was the fact that a ship the size of any of the RSSC fleet would not go through the new larger canal. It is for the mega freighters only. We also had a rough crossing of the Gulf of Mexico but guests took it in stride.

excellent food and informative excursions
Pros: excellent food and informative excursions
Cons: would have liked to stay longer in the last port
Review: It was one of the best trip we made: Excellent service everywhere on the ship, destinations for the islands were planned for different age groups and a learning experience. Besides a lot of entertainment form bridge lessons to lectures to shows included a local folklore group that came on board to share their culture in Martinique. It was a fun trip!
The Ship, The Free Excursions, The Staff, The Dining, The Butler
Pros: The Ship, The Free Excursions, The Staff, The Dining, The Butler
Cons: Not Going On The Cruise
Review: The Navigator is definitely a 6 Star Ship and very upscale in everything they do. The facilities are above board and well staffed with trained people. We had a close departure flight and the destination desk took charge days ahead of time. I was called the night before and again on the departure morning advising me of the ship’s docking status, the disembark ramp and where to take our suitcases. We were the first off the ship, cleared customs and jumped into a reserved limo. the ship had arranged. We were to the airport on time and flight departed on schedule. That was really an added touch to a super, fun cruise.
Totally Inclusive, Unique Cruise Itinerary
Pros: Totally Inclusive, Unique Cruise Itinerary
Cons: Excursions
Review: Excursions were all full and you could not make changes because of this situation. Also, Even Though we had had signed up for certain excursions on certain days and they were verified before the cruise, when we arrive on the ship, some of the reserved times had been changed such that we could not go on the excursions we had signed up for.
Staff is terrific, food much improved since last Regent cruise 2 years ago, itinerary was interesting, great lecturer on board
Pros: Staff is terrific, food much improved since last Regent cruise 2 years ago, itinerary was interesting, great lecturer on board
Cons: Even though ship was recently refurbished it is still the oldest in the Regent fleet, lots of vibration at times in the public areas
Review: Overall a terrific experience. We had a couple of minor issues with our cabin which was effectively remedied.

Great stateroom and shore excursions, very good food
Pros: Great stateroom and shore excursions, very good food
Cons: Entertainment OK, as expected.
Review: Well run operation. Biggest stateroom in veranda category that we've had in over 14 cruises. Clean, well maintained. Truely all inclusive. Only extra expense was laundry. Very pleasant, professional staff. On itinerary. Gythion and Argostoli were OK, but there are other destinations that might have been better (like Mykonos).
Smaller Ship, Not crowded, Great excursions, Excellent Room
Pros: Smaller Ship, Not crowded, Great excursions, Excellent Room
Cons: Lack of more eating venues. Lack of good stage entertainment
Review: Was a great cruise. The diversity of eating venues and entertainment will likely have me try a little larger ship next time.
Positive staff support, high quality of suites, food and wine. Excellent galley tour.
Pros: Positive staff support, high quality of suites, food and wine. Excellent galley tour.
Cons: "Nightclub" lighs in Compass Rose; some tours were too long and arduous.
Review: The suites and public spaces are in top condition. The staff is cordial and supportive. The complimentary WiFi, easily implemented, is a great addition. Executive chef's galley tour is excellent, showing the camaraderie of all the galley team.

Staff: Cruise Directors, Cruise Consultant, General Manager, F&B Manager, Reception team and Destinations team
Pros: Staff: Cruise Directors, Cruise Consultant, General Manager, F&B Manager, Reception team and Destinations team
Cons: Quirky ship with vibration and heating/cooling issues.
Review:
Destination motivated trip and the ship delivered.
Pros: Destination motivated trip and the ship delivered.
Cons: This is the age of connectivity. We had a frustrating experience with wi-fi on board. We have signed up for two more trips with Seaborne but will cancel if this situation isn't addressed. Too much time spent on land trying to make needed contacts.
Review: We must recommend the Colonade Maitre D, Antonio Libassi and server Filipo, for their outstanding work. Everyone wishes that they had such good workers. They stood out amongst your great employees. The addition of Eco-zodiac excursions seemed to have a lot of interest amongst the younger (under 65) crowd.
Regent is wonderful. Staff, food and entertainment are the best. Cabins are spacious, beds are sooo comfortable.
Pros: Regent is wonderful. Staff, food and entertainment are the best. Cabins are spacious, beds are sooo comfortable.
Cons: The Navigator was too small. We had two days of rough water that would not have been a problem on a larger ship. There was also a lot of vibration in parts of the ship, particularly in our cabin (855).
Review: I would not cruise on the Navigator again, but would definitely cruise again on Regent's Mariner or Voyager, and would love to try the new Explorer. Traveling through the Panama Canal was great, but the ports of call on this cruise weren't so good (Central America). Also, I did not like so many sea days - maybe because the Navigator was too small. I would definitely recommend Regent and Holliday Cruises and Tours to anyone.
Excellent accommodations, attentive crew, delicious food
Pros: Excellent accommodations, attentive crew, delicious food
Cons: Not enough time on shore excursions
Review: Great trip. I am very spoiled now. Lots to do, but no time to shop. Navigator's boutique had limited selection. Prime 7 restaurant was a disappointment, but all the other restaurants were exceptional, nightly entertainment was wonderful.

Service, suite size, food, ports-of-call, entertainment, all-inclusive fare, shore excursions
Pros: Service, suite size, food, ports-of-call, entertainment, all-inclusive fare, shore excursions
Cons: Ship is showing some wear
Review: We had a wonderful vacation with beautiful weather. We have been on several cruises and have never experienced the consistently high level of service provided by the crew of the Navigator. The food was superb. The Shore Excursions were well-planned and, for the most part, very good. Two of the buses we were on had problems with the microphone so it was difficult to hear the Tour Guides. Another tour was 30 minutes late leaving and that caused other delays in the activities that were planned for the day. We highly recommend the tour of Fortress Louisbourg in Sydney, Canada and the Cultural Show La Fabuleuse in Quebec City. Our favorite entertainers on board were Jimmy Travis, Margaret Lynn (Cruise Director), and the Krew Kapers. Unfortunately, the Broadway Show had to be cancelled because the Production Manager had an emergency and had to leave.
excellent food--all-inclusive/excellent excursions/large cabins
Pros: excellent food--all-inclusive/excellent excursions/large cabins
Cons: beds were too soft for us. options for exercise on rainy days at sea are limited as fitness center very crowded/has to walk the indoor stairs
Review: Had a great time---liked that there was a good offering of active excursions. Ocean Raft adventure our favorite --saw lots of whales. Also loved Tracey Arm-we were lucky enough to see Sawyer Glacier calve!

Small ship; great crew; intimate, all-inclusive atmosphere; fantastic on-board experience
Pros: Small ship; great crew; intimate, all-inclusive atmosphere; fantastic on-board experience
Cons: Limited work-out room with somewhat dated equipment; expensive optional excursions; limited evening entertainment
Review: Regent's Alaska experience on the Navigator is a wonderful one. The small, all-inclusive nature of this cruise creates a very friendly, happy on-board atmosphere. The Navigator has a main dining room - the Compass Rose, a specialty steakhouse - Prime 7, and La Veranda which becomes an Italian restaurant Seti Mara in the evening. Food was great (although a few said that they preferred the food on Oceania). Wines are freely poured and drinks are always available. Ashore, many excursions are included in the cruise fare, but the float plane experiences, helicopter rides, dog sledding come at a hefty additional price. It is worth exploring a land operator separate from Regent for these. This applies especially to the fishing, which many who purchased the ship's experience were disappointed in. The crew is anxious to please at all times, and the staff is truly second to none.
Friendliness and dedication of the staff, spacious suites, great food, fabulous itinerary
Pros: Friendliness and dedication of the staff, spacious suites, great food, fabulous itinerary
Cons: Vibration in the aft
Review: The suites were very comfortable and spacious! Loved the big bathroom and walk-in closet! The staff were outstanding, warm and welcoming! The food in all venues was great - with lots of variety and good presentation. Enjoyed the shows too!
