Barcelona | Friday, Sep 18, 2026 | Friday, Sep 18, 2026 |
Barcelona, the self-confident and progressive capital of Spain, is a tremendous place to be. Though it boasts outstanding Gothic and Art Nouveau buildings, and some great museums – most notably those dedicated to Picasso and Catalan art – it is above all a place where there's enjoyment simply in walking the streets, stopping in at bars and cafés, drinking in the atmosphere. A thriving port and the most prosperous commercial centre in Spain, it has a sophistication and cultural dynamism way ahead of the rest of the country. In part this reflects the city's proximity to France, whose influence is apparent in the elegant boulevards and imaginative cooking. But Barcelona has also evolved an individual and eclectic cultural identity, most perfectly and eccentrically expressed in the architecture of Antoni GaudÃ. Scattered as Barcelona's main sights may be, the greatest concentration of interest is around the old town (La Ciutat Vella). These cramped streets above the harbor are easily manageable, and far more enjoyable, on foot. Start, as everyone else does, with the Ramblas.

Palma de Mallorca | Sunday, Sep 20, 2026 | Sunday, Sep 20, 2026 |
The Balearics are comprised of 16 islands; the three principal ones are Mallorca, Ibiza and Menorca. Lying just 60 miles off the Spanish mainland, the islands’ lush and rugged landscape combined with an extremely mild, sunny climate prove irresistible. The Balearics boast cosmopolitan resorts with lively nightlife and plenty of sports activities. Palma de Majorca is the capital of the archipelago. A cosmopolitan city with sophisticated shops and restaurants, it also offers buildings of spectacular Moorish and gothic architecture. Museo de Mallorca housed in the Palacio Ayamans boasts an interesting collection of Moorish, medieval and 18th- to 19th-century art. Those who wish to explore the northern end of the island will enjoy the dramatic land and seascape of Cabo Formentor at the end of a long, narrow peninsula. A winding road with magnificent views leads to the luxury Hotel Formentor, beautifully situated above the bay. The lighthouse of Cabo Formentor is the most northerly point on Majorca.

Submit Your Own Review!Excellent food, wines, and staff while traveling.
Pros: Excellent food, wines, and staff while traveling.
Cons: If you hve problems with air connections or baggage, you are on your own.
Review: Took a pre-cruise tour. Regents would not give us info on flights or connections until we arrived at the pre-tour sight. The connections Regents arranged only allowed 45 minutes between flights. We barely made the connection but our luggage did not. Six of us traveling together and no one got their luggage until the 5th day on the cruise. Staff would give us very little info or help. Our worst experience was when we were denied dining room access on the second night because it was a formal dining night. We only had the clothes we had when we boarded the ship which was jeans. We were told we could eat in our rooms but were denied dining room access. After threatening to cause a seen and going through 4 levels of management, we were finally allowed in. Regents has rules and employees are not given authority to even make logical exceptions when needed. Several employees said their hands were tied and could lose their jobs if they didn't follow the rules exactly. At least some of them expressed empathy for our situation, but not all. Overall, we enjoyed the cruise and particularily the food and great wines. The shows were also very good.
people were great
Pros: people were great
Cons: see below
Review: Bathroom with tub is impossible for older people;no restaurant for lighter dinner;should provide wheelchair availability to the buses on tours Have taken Silversea and they provide all the above
Itinerary and staff onboard and dinners were great
Pros: Itinerary and staff onboard and dinners were great
Cons: Ship is a little tired looking and breakfast and lunch were not the greatest in my opinion
Review:
This itinerary is great with Bar Harbor and all of the Canadian ports as well. I have a hard time saying which was my favorite because it was all great. We were lucky with weather as well.
Ports of call/Staff
Pros: Ports of call/Staff
Cons: Bathtub-shower combination
Review: First time sailing on Regent. Mariner is an older ship, but I thought it looked beautiful. Make sure you reserve a cabin with walk-in shower. Bathtubs are difficult to step in and out of. Dinner at Chartreuse was delicious.
A very pleasant experience. Staff is good and will accommodate you if they can.
Pros: A very pleasant experience. Staff is good and will accommodate you if they can.
Cons: This is an older ship.
Review: I thought that the tub/shower arrangement was very unsatisfactory. There was nothing to hang on to if you happened to slip. And the tub was most difficult to exit. I am quite agile so I felt for anyone who wasn't. I understand that some of the penthouse suites had just a shower. That would have been much better.
Regent's attention to detail is top-notch.
Pros: Regent's attention to detail is top-notch.
Cons: One glitch with an excursion.
Review: All staff are very accommodating and friendly. Housekeepng staff called us by name from the moment we met them and throughout the trip, even when we weren't in the immediate area of our suite. Excursion glitch: When we arrived at our horseback ride excursion, we were told that Mexican law prohibited people older than 70 from participating. Regent personnel said they were not aware of this requirement. The itinerary was changed slightly (we did not go to Manzanillo and San Diego was added at the end) to avoid Hurricane Rosyln, a wise choice on the part of Regent, which didn't affect the enjoyment of our cruise.
Staff, Officers and service onboard excellent, Food excellent. Ship very clean. Great itinerary.
Pros: Staff, Officers and service onboard excellent, Food excellent. Ship very clean. Great itinerary.
Cons: Entertainment needs more variety, some guests advised toilets in rooms and public areas not working properly..
Review:
The itinerary was very well planned which allowed sufficient time to capture the grandness of the experience.
Pros: The itinerary was very well planned which allowed sufficient time to capture the grandness of the experience.
Cons: There were no moments or events in our cruise that we did not feel that we captured the moment of enjoyment in every way.
Review: The staff aboard the Mariner was exceptional in every facet. Every crew member was courteous and willing to give whatever effort necessary to ensure that every client onboard would have the maximum enjoyment from their vacation investment. The housekeeping staff was awesome to state it mildly. I have never been treated with such professionalism and pride in their jobs. I would like to thank the Regent organization for putting together the mechanics of the experience which made every passenger onboard happy and proud to have had such an experience!
Service
Pros: Service
Cons: Italian restaurant and Prime 7 were just Ok
Review: The ship is what made the cruise, given that one port was cancelled (too windy for tenders), and that many, many excursions had to be cancelled due to an “atmospheric river” of rain. The service onboard was exemplary . The cabins functioned beautifully. Chartreuse was the best restaurant by far, simply divine. Entertainment is mediocre. The girls are wonderful but the guys are weak. That being said, it was still fun. I’d take this ship to other locations, but I don’t think I’d repeat Alaska, as you have no idea what kind of trip you will have since the weather is unknowable in advance. The first comment our friends would say is that they missed the Incline railway and the seaplane, which were actually the two things we were most looking forward to. All cancelled. Another example - the ship in the time slot before us couldn’t see Hubbard Glacier due to the fog. We were lucky, but the ship right after us had the fog closing in again. It’s a lot if $$ to spend for a bunch of maybes. I would have liked to give 4and a half starts.
Enjoyed the overall experience. The staff was helpful and courteous. Land excursions were good. Food overall was good.
Pros: Enjoyed the overall experience. The staff was helpful and courteous. Land excursions were good. Food overall was good.
Cons: Wifi marginal. Never could get any crispy bacon. Contracted Covid while onboard.
Review: This was our 4th cruise on Regent. Overall a good experience, but slightly below prior cruises. On day of departure started getting symptoms of Covid so we have to assume we contracted it fom on board ship. Recovered but unfortunate.
All the crew was fun, friendly, and couldn't do enought for us.
Pros: All the crew was fun, friendly, and couldn't do enought for us.
Cons: All the hoops we had to go thru on line was not pleasant.
Review:
Friendliest Staff members; luxurious rooms, restaurant choices, food, wine and spirit selections.
Pros: Friendliest Staff members; luxurious rooms, restaurant choices, food, wine and spirit selections.
Cons: Airport arrival disorganized
Review: Overall trip was fantastic. Our only dilemma was our transportation from airport to hotel provided by Regent. Was a little disorganized so we opted to taxi to hotel after a 45 minute wait. Once we boarded the bus to our our port the following morning everything was very organized and smooth sailing. I would highly recommend this cruise line to anyone. Courteous staff, who after the first night knew your names and would greet with a friendly smile and great conversation.
See all of the above !
Pros: See all of the above !
Cons: Hmmmm. Ask for additional garlic in your Italian dishes in Seti Mari ...the Italian Restaurant. That's it........ALL I can find any fault with.
Review:
All inclusive. Amazing crew.
Pros: All inclusive. Amazing crew.
Cons: internet needs an upgrade. Too slow
Review:
Food, Service
Pros: Food, Service
Cons: Entertainment (singers) on board
Review: We had a wonderful time on our cruise aboard the Mariner from Miami to Lima in November of 2019. We were last on the ship in February of 2018 before it went into dry-dock for refurbishment, and the ship is beautiful. the staterooms are spacious, the beds are incredibly comfortable, both the shower and closet are spacious and the food on board was exceptional. The one area where I think Regent can improve is with the singers that are on-board. Featured entertainment was great, including an Irish comedian, a broadway actress/singer and the cast of the main shows. The lounge singers, however, left a little to be desired. As for the itinerary, we missed our 1st port of call in Jamaica due to a technical issue the ship was having with one of their Azipods. We visited Curacao and Aruba in the Caribbean and enjoyed both of our catamaran excursions and got to do some amazing snorkeling, including one over a sunken ship from World War II. We then went to Columbia, and while our visit to Cartegena was nice, the stop at Santa Marta was our least favorite port on the itinerary. There wasn't a lot to see and do there, and many guests on board were complaining about their excursions in Santa Marta. We then visited two places in Equador (Manta & Guayaquill) and enjoyed them both. We then went to Trujillo, Peru before ending our cruise in Lima. We thoroughly enjoyed both days we spent exploring Lima and the many attractions it has to offer. I always enjoy my time an any Regent ship, and this cruise was certainly no exception. I always recommend Regent to everyone, as it truly is a wonderful luxury cruise experience.
Great ship, service was over the top and food was perfect every time.
Pros: Great ship, service was over the top and food was perfect every time.
Cons: nothing except the weather. It was a great cruise.

Review: This was our fourth cruise with Regent Seven Seas! We love the excursions, dining, staff service and the fact that it’s all inclusive!
Service, professionalism, food
Pros: Service, professionalism, food
Cons: Decor
Review: We had a great time. Everything was perfect! If I had to choose one con it would be that the decor/ colors/ interior design of the ship was rather outdated (think major hotel chains such as Sheraton before the recent updates): marble, gold, etc. I would very much prefer more modern design.
The staff is wonderful

Great itinerary and good selection of excursions and awesome precruise trip.
Pros: Great itinerary and good selection of excursions and awesome precruise trip.
Cons: Maybe we tried to do too much!
Review: As always fantastic staff throughout the trip. We did comment while on board about dining in the Verandah/Sette Mari which was frequently chaotic. For breakfast and lunch they now have tables in the walkways at the side which are poor spots to sit at and very congested. This was never a problem before and there are no more passengers so what happened? In the future we will avoid suites under the pool deck. You can hear all the furniture being moved around. One morning that was at 6-45am - I did go up and complain and reported that at reception. Otherwise classic Regent!
The staff are all wonderful, very courteous and professional. The excursion to the Australian open was fantastic
Pros: The staff are all wonderful, very courteous and professional. The excursion to the Australian open was fantastic
Cons: Some excursions did not provide enough information to make informed decisions. Also, the initial advertising leads you to believe all excursions are free, when many of the best you have to pay for. We had an incident with toilet that they could have handled better.

EVERYTHING!!! Service was excellent. Excursions were well organized and very interesting. Cabins were roomy (for a cruise ship) and excellently maintained the entire trip.

Review: This is an excellent cruise line. This was our 8th cruise with them and, once agin, they "wowed" us. I can't say enough about the wonderful service and excellent food. Everything was top notch.
Service by staff, top to bottom, was excellent. Clean, up-to-date ship. Great ports of call (especially Wrangell, Icy Strait Point, and Kodiak.
Pros: Service by staff, top to bottom, was excellent. Clean, up-to-date ship. Great ports of call (especially Wrangell, Icy Strait Point, and Kodiak.
Cons: Food was not uniformly as good as the service. Excellent some times, not others.
Review: A great cruise. Not perfect, but what is?
Pros: No Pros
Cons: Really weren't any cons!
Review: As first time cruisers (and after reading all about cruising in general) we had high hopes for our Regent experience, but this went above and beyond our expectations. Suites were so much bigger, better, and well equipped than I expected - including 4 power outlets! We loved spending early mornings and late evenings on our private balcony. The staff was always gracious and accommodating. The food was delicious and ever-changing. The excursions were well-executed - and interesting glimpses into four very different ports. We were lucky that our weather was exceptional, but even so, I have to imagine a rainy day just would have given us a chance to explore the boat and ongoing activities even more. We never thought we'd enjoy a cruise - now we can't wait to plan our next one. With REGENT, of course!
Excellent service, beautiful ship, all inclusive, friendly personnel
Pros: Excellent service, beautiful ship, all inclusive, friendly personnel

Review: The room was beautiful, however, I think ottomans should be added to the chairs to be able to put your feet up after a long day of walking. The carpet needed to be changed.

Professional, friendly 5 star service.
Pros: Professional, friendly 5 star service.
Cons: The smallest hiccup seems huge (when it isn't)!
Review: Regent never fails to provide quality service. Staff have more class than some passengers. When it says no jeans at dinner and here comes some passenger walking to his table wearing less than proper attire, it can put a damper on expectations. If you want Carnival Cruise Line atmosphere, then go for it! With Regent, do yourself a favor and dress appropriately. Again, not a big deal but Regent puts forth a great effort. So should you!
Great crew, beautiful stateroom, well organized for all activities
Pros: Great crew, beautiful stateroom, well organized for all activities
Cons: Inconsistent dining (both service and food), inability to get close to glaciers, some glitches in excursion selection
Review: We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise in Alaska on the Mariner, and were very happy to be on a ship no larger than 700 passengers. While there were some glitches in our selection of excursions and in their billing, in general everything was very well organized. The crew was exceptionally friendly at all times.
good size for elder clients
Pros: good size for elder clients
Cons: lots of shore excursions not available for walking issues
Review: Looks nice
Great food, handled new port well, great time, very organized protocols.
Pros: Great food, handled new port well, great time, very organized protocols.
Cons: Had white paint on my feet all week from putting them on balcony railings. Must have been painted the day we left port but it never dried...have photos of painted feet to remember this trip!
Review: I was very surprised that the cabin stewards never came by to introduce themselves or ask us what we needed (usually what type of alcohol). We never saw them the entire trip, unlike previous cruises . Most disappointing part of trip as they are usually so ready to help and I enjoy talking with them. Being the first trip to Havana Regent did a good job, only negative was being on a wait list for excursion and never being notified when space became available. We managed to wander to the desk at the right time and procured two cars ??. If we weren't there we would not have gotten them. Mariner cabins are tired looking, glad it's being refurbished soon. Would benefit from another day in Havana, skip Mexico port and cruise another day or two. I am looking forward to September cruise on the Explorer!
Superior service, food, suite, fellow passengers
Pros: Superior service, food, suite, fellow passengers
Cons: Entertainment, in suite cable and movie choice
Review: We stayed in the Grand Suite, remained on-board, and enjoyed a relaxing eleven days. Our butler was most pleasant and quite helpful. Our suite was well appointed and most comfortable.
Absolutely fabulous cruise in all respects save one.small item..
Pros: Absolutely fabulous cruise in all respects save one.small item..
Cons: The "one small item" is the "Voyage Memories" DVD
Review: The " Voyage Memories" DVD is an amateurish assembly of, largely, the evening floor shows, with a very poor sound track, and a few shots of several visited downtown areas. There is no coverage of the ship's dining rooms and cuisine, bars, library, suites, the observation deck, swimming pool, hot tubs, athletic facilities, or shore excursions, The DVD's quality falls woefully below the high standards of all other aspects of our cruise experience with Regent.
All inclusive, stateroom balcony, steward attentiveness, great food, excellent service, large selection of activities both on and off the ship, daily activity schedules, captain's updates, luggage and transport organization
Pros: All inclusive, stateroom balcony, steward attentiveness, great food, excellent service, large selection of activities both on and off the ship, daily activity schedules, captain's updates, luggage and transport organization
Cons: Rain and large swells first couple of days, very noisy in the Prime 7 restaurant, difficulty trying to use shipboard credits when most items/services were included, encountered 4 additional cruise ships in port in Ketchican so the area was very busy
Review: Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and looking forward to another one in the near future.
Great itinerary, excellent cruise ship, outstanding service, excellent food and accommodations and exceptional land tours.

Review: with eleven people in our party, ages 10 to 84, I kept waiting for a melt down. It never happened. The fabulous crew met everyone's needs. our fabulous butler, Immanuel, seemed to appear just when we needed something. This was our third and best Regent cruise. Many thanks!!
Excellent ship layout, great service from all Regent staff
Pros: Excellent ship layout, great service from all Regent staff
Cons: It rained every day!!!!!
Review: Our fourth Regent cruise and first time on Mariner. Mariner is now our favorite Regent ship. Food, entertainment, and service were the usual high standards set by Regent.
Service is a strong suit, food is very good
Pros: Service is a strong suit, food is very good
Cons: I saw several less able guests who had trouble with the gangway. While there are sturdy handrails the length of the gangway at the bottom it yields to a less than sturdy rope rail. They should always keep a person at the bottom and at the top who can offer strong assistance.

Very good itinerary , tours were interesting and informative
Pros: Very good itinerary , tours were interesting and informative
Cons: Spend a little more time at ports instead of leaving early and waiting to dock in early am .Entertainment should have been tailored to older crowd , songs shoyuld have been from 50's, 60's and 70's. The Jean Ann Ryan team seemed a bit lacking in timing and connecting with the audience.

Pros: Food, Included Tour Varieties, Inclusions, Stateroom Space & Storage,
Cons: Tour times & ratings of levels of activity were not reliable, onboard lack of activities, plumbing slow downs, limited onboard shops
Review: Mariner offers a truly first class cruise experience for singles and couples traveling alone as well as families exploring the world together. The wide variety of 'free' tours is enough to keep 95% of cruisers happy. The food quality is as good as any afloat in either of the dining rooms. We really enjoyed dining outdoors every evening (with good weather). PH 830 has a pole next to the bed so you need to be smaller in size on the right side of the bed. PH are very spacious. Internet package was competitively priced and service was good onboard. The evening entertainment was sufficient although lacking much in the way of dancing. Poolside was great with plenty of shade. We loved that there policy was little to no onboard announcements or trying to sell you photos as you left the ship at each dock - great feeling of not being 'marketed to' while on vacation although they had a well informed cruise consultant to help with future cruise bookings. Lorraine, the Cruise Director is brilliant!
suites, staff , ship & tours were great.
Pros: suites, staff , ship & tours were great.
Cons: Dinner reservations were a hassle.
Review: Prime 7 and Signatures were unavailable after ship had sailed. Would not sail on Regent again without confirmed dinner reservations before departure.
Great itineary
Pros: Great itineary
Cons: Not enough time in Kotor Montenegro
Review: 10 night sailing to terrific ports of calls. This sailing offered many small unusual ports with a good variety of shore excursions in each port. The ship was the perfect size. The staff onboard was exceptional and the food was outstanding.
Excellent food, service, nicely appointed staterooms, comfortable ship, interesting ports
Pros: Excellent food, service, nicely appointed staterooms, comfortable ship, interesting ports
Cons: Would have liked better pre dinner music, Tour groups should have been smaller or headsets provided.

Cons: unexpected formal nights (3), entertainment is just ok
Review: I am such a big fan of Regent Seven Seas! I love the ship, the food is outstanding and my husband relaxed for the first time in a few years! My group was about 54 guests, we had a lot of fun with them. Starting with the cocktail party we all made new friends and I had some questions from several guests but had helped with the resolve of any issue they had. We shared cocktails, dinners, lunches and even breakfasts with the Signature guests. The ship is well maintained and the crew is amazing! I had remembered several of the wait staff from my June cruise, and all were very welcoming. Lots of families and multi- generations on the double holiday voyage. Good to see children having fun on board. The Captain is very approachable and charming as only an Italian Captain can be, the food and beverage director was fantastic as were his crew. We were rained out of 2 Tahitian islands as it is wet season in December, but it was great to relax on board. The cuisine was exceptional, my favorite restaurant is Signatures with a French influence, but Prime 7 was a close runner up! The buffet up top on the 11th deck by day, turns into a lovely Al fresco restaurant in the evenings and has an Italian cuisine, very casual but very elegant. The shows in the showroom featured a Cirque Du Soleil type of act, I wasn't a fan as the gymnast was EXTREMELY thin, so hard to watch, and once you saw the act once, the next time you saw it, it was the same act to a different song. On New years eve they did a James Bond theme in the show room with a martini tasting fun in the audience. The islands were great, my favorite was Champagne Beach in Vanuatu, it was perfect! The perfect powder sugar sand, the clear blue water with the perfect temperature and a sand bottom, it was heaven! New Zealand was my 2nd favorite in the Bay of Islands we had a great kayaking trip to a waterfall, free time after to enjoy the adorable town! In Fiji it was lovely, hubby Jake became the chief in Suva! another great place for waterfall fans like us! Overall I would do this trip over and over again it was awesome!
Food, service, care of staff, shows
Pros: Food, service, care of staff, shows
Cons: Academic attitude of asst. cruise director, weather, lost tours, COMPENSATION was zero.
Review: Sorry we lost the Xmas decorations contest. We lost 2-1/2 days of shore activities, but received no real compensation. Should get additional tour, harbor, special meal, wine selection, or whatever. Next, you need to schedule tours more than once on cruise. We wanted to do several tours on ship, but they were offered only once with lots of conflicts.
staff, food, ship's amenities and furnishings were fantastic
Pros: staff, food, ship's amenities and furnishings were fantastic
Cons: Shore excursions were mediocre and seemed somewhat limited.
Review: The ship itself looks great - the recent renovation has left the common areas feeling new and very chic, but still comfortable. Our stateroom was very clean and felt like that of a new ship. The storage space was wonderful. We were especially impressed by the food onboard and were thrilled to be able to provide a galley tour to our group with Chef Kelly Cochrane. Every meal or snack we had was excellent and we enjoyed delicious meals in all three specialty restaurants. The only thing that we found better than the food was the service. The staff on board, from the captain to the room stewards, were friendly, anxious to help, and eager to bring you whatever you wanted. In particular, we enjoyed Maria and Zennifer, who waited nights in the Italian restraunt, and Ashley, who was head of security and always welcomed us by name when we left or returned to the ship. Every show we saw was professional and very entertaining. We heard many, many people onboard (include a casting director) who felt as if the shows and performers were Broadway quality. We did not use the spa, but heard great things from friends who did. The gym was perfect for the size and clientele on the ship - it just would have been better if it opened at 6 AM, instead of 7 AM as this made it difficult to workout with 8 AM shore excursions. The only thing we felt was not really up to par was the shore excursion offerings. I understand that the clientele on this ship might like half-day excursions so that they can return to the ship for lunch, which is fine. It would have been nice to have been able to participate in two excursions on some days. In addition, we found that the time allowed to do/see anything in a 3-4 hour excursion was not really sufficient and felt rushed. However, most of the guides we had were very knowledgeable and easy to understand. Finally, the staff assigned to work with our group was second to none. They were willing to do anything and everything to help us ensure that our group received some extra care. This ship's staff would serve as a great training model for exceptional service onboard a cruise ship.
Many beautiful Ports
Pros: Many beautiful Ports
Cons: Pre Cruise hotel not convenient
Review: The ship was GREAT! The pre & post cruise hotels not so much. Be sure to discuss them before booking. Pre-cruise hotel was located on a barrier island instead of the mainland of Venice. Having to wait on water taxi's really limited our ability to see and explore Venice. Other passengers on the same cruise were located on the mainland of Venice. I don't understand... The post cruise hotel was a five star hotel but lacked warmth & comfort. The Palazzo Montemartini was very contemporary, cold, & utilitarian. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would recommend it to others.
Everything looks fresh and new. It has the "new ship smell". Almost every area has been tweaked.
Pros: Everything looks fresh and new. It has the "new ship smell". Almost every area has been tweaked.
Cons: The final stages of the refurbishment are still happening and a little disruptive for people who did not go on shore excursions. Tile cutting is very noisy.

Review: My husband and I just returned from a Mediterranean Cruise on the Regent Mariner. It was, by far, the trip of a lifetime! We already booked an Alaskan Cruise for next summer with Regent as well. We don't have one complaint about the cruise, everything was seamless. Looking forward to next summer for round two!
everything included
Pros: everything included
Cons: description of excusions not much on the ship as on line
Review: The Mariner is a wonderful comfortable ship. The interior fabric on the furniture and carpet are stunning. Observation Lounge in white leather is like a private yacht. Everything is included from cocktails to in suite movies. Big shower with a seat. Nice soap. Food too good. Martinis the best.
Food, service, entertainment, shore excursions
Pros: Food, service, entertainment, shore excursions
Cons: Shore excursions started really early
Review: Shore excursions were included and guides for the most part were extremely well informed. Staff was always available to assist with any needs. Cuisine in the alternative dining venues was excellent, well prepared and service outstanding. The Cirque show was one of the best performances I've ever seen on a cruise.
Clean, nice staff.
Pros: Clean, nice staff.
Cons: Too formal, excursions were very early, limited dining options. limited entertainment. Too formal a dress code. Mostly for older couples.
Review: This was a lovely ship and the cabins were nice. Too formal for my taste and little to do on ship.
All-inclusive, accommodating staff, medium-size ship, lectures and many other activities, excellent dining
Pros: All-inclusive, accommodating staff, medium-size ship, lectures and many other activities, excellent dining
Cons: Really none
Review: Our cruise departed from Rio de Janeiro and sailed up the coast of Brazil with stops in Salvador da Bahia, and several ports on the Amazon River. After leaving the Amazon (very very interesting), we also stopped in Barbados, St. Barths and San Juan, P. R., on the way to final destination, Miami. While the ship is due to go into drydock in April 2014, it did not seem worn at all, except maybe needing new carpets in some areas! It's a lovely ship holding about 700 passengers, with plenty of outdoor space, including all balconies in the suites. Favorite features were all-inclusive pricing, very nice guest launderettes, very friendly and accommodating staff, super cruise directors, terrific food. The included tours are very high quality, with over-the-top tours extra cost. The included wine and spirits very good quality - name brands, and unstinting quantities. Special requests accommodated with a can-do attitude. Beds are awesome, with high-end linens - slept beautifully. The entertainment is generally excellent, as were the speakers at the enrichment lectures (two every sea day).
Beautiful ship, great staff, amazing food, fun ports, no stress
Pros: Beautiful ship, great staff, amazing food, fun ports, no stress
