Barcelona | Monday, Sep 28, 2026 | Monday, Sep 28, 2026 |
Barcelona, the self-confident and progressive capital of Spain, is a tremendous place to be. Though it boasts outstanding Gothic and Art Nouveau buildings, and some great museums – most notably those dedicated to Picasso and Catalan art – it is above all a place where there's enjoyment simply in walking the streets, stopping in at bars and cafés, drinking in the atmosphere. A thriving port and the most prosperous commercial centre in Spain, it has a sophistication and cultural dynamism way ahead of the rest of the country. In part this reflects the city's proximity to France, whose influence is apparent in the elegant boulevards and imaginative cooking. But Barcelona has also evolved an individual and eclectic cultural identity, most perfectly and eccentrically expressed in the architecture of Antoni GaudÃ. Scattered as Barcelona's main sights may be, the greatest concentration of interest is around the old town (La Ciutat Vella). These cramped streets above the harbor are easily manageable, and far more enjoyable, on foot. Start, as everyone else does, with the Ramblas.

Toulon | Wednesday, Sep 30, 2026 | Wednesday, Sep 30, 2026 |
Built around a sheltered bay with Mount Faron as an impressive backdrop, Toulon is an important naval port and a city of industry. Its large harbor serves as the base for the French navy's Mediterranean fleet and as home to a sizeable marina, with yachts and pleasure boats adding bright splashes of color. A maze of pedestrian streets constitutes the heart of old Toulon. Shops and colorful stalls make it an attractive area to explore. Avenue de la République runs parallel to the waterfront. At the western edge of the quay, the Naval Museum is visiting by those with an interest in Toulon’s maritime history. Most visitors come here to explore the hinterland and other parts of the Riviera.

Valletta | Monday, Oct 05, 2026 | Monday, Oct 05, 2026 |
Valletta is the capital of Malta. This remarkable fortified city with its massive bastions followed the most advanced Renaissance ideas in town planning, with streets laid straight on a grid looking over the Grand Harbour. Outside the 'City Gate' is the famous Triton Fountain. 'City Gate' has public buses and vendors selling soft drinks and all sorts of traditional fresh Maltese bread and sweets. Freedom Square shows an extraordinary capital with buildings of fine architecture of different tastes and styles ranging from the Mannerism to Baroque to Rococo to Neoclassicism. Valletta is a fascinating city for wandering around looking at what used to be the Knight's own cathedrals and Auberges. The city's backbone is Republic Street, which runs straight through the city center to Fort St. Elmo. Valletta has several narrow, steep side streets decorated with traditional Maltese pastel colored balconies and a statue on almost every street corner. There are plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants to choose from.

Sorrento | Thursday, Oct 08, 2026 | Thursday, Oct 08, 2026 |
Sorrento is a town of extraordinary beauty and is known as a popular gateway to Italy's most spectacular stretch of coastline - the Amalfi Drive lined with fishing villages and famous resorts. The seaside resort of Amalfi sits with weathered houses scrambling up steep cliffs. Visitors marvel at its location and its magnificent cathedral. The religious sanctuary of Cloister of St. Francis is worth a visit. The tiny, exclusive resort of Positano has its famous world-class hotel, San Pietro. Excavations of the ruined city of Pompeii, which was destroyed in 79 A.D. during the disastrous eruption of Mount Vesuvius, give visitors a vivid impression of life in a very wealthy ancient city and the tragic end of its population. The Isle of Capri ranks as one of the most beautiful islands and has captured visitors for centuries with excellent climate, spectacular landscape and fantastic sea caverns. Capri has lavish villas, elegant hotels, chic boutiques and quaint restaurants. Museo Correale contains a death mask of poet Torquato Tasso and some special editions of his works, pictures, furniture and porcelain.

Civitavecchia is the port city for Rome. Rome has always been and remains the Eternal City. With its splendid churches, ancient monuments and palaces, spacious parks, tree-lined boulevards, fountains, outdoor cafés and elegant shops, Rome is one of the world’s most attractive cities. Among the most famous monuments is the Colosseum where spectators watched combats between muscled gladiators and ferocious animals. Stop to see the remains of the Forum, once a political and commercial center. Rome’s squares were enhanced with such imposing structures as the Vittorio Emanuele Monument and grandiose fountains like the Fontana di Trevi. Awe at Christendom’s most magnificent church, the Sistine Chapel. The busy square Piazza Venezia is easily recognized by its imposing Vittorio Emanuele II Monument. Take a stroll to Rome's famous Trevi Fountain. Vatican City is the site of lovely St. Peter's Square and St. Peter's Basilica, where for 200 years, Renaissance masters worked on its design and created an unparalleled masterpiece. Pros: Service and Food
Cons: Evening show (dancers/singers), Paid for best wifi and was still spotty
Review: The staff were mostly warm and friendly, cheerful and helpful. The food was 8/10. The complimentary laundry was a big plus. We loved the ports but was disappointed with Nuku Hiva. Bora Bora was our favorite and we loved the overnight. The ship is obviously old, but in good condition.
Passenger to Crew Ratio. Impeccable service. No waiting for anything!
Pros: Passenger to Crew Ratio. Impeccable service. No waiting for anything!
Cons: Entertainment was underwhelming but not important to us.
Review: I have never experienced a lack of waiting (for anything) on a cruise ship before. The impeccable service was clearly a focus for Regent and you could tell the management has made this a priority from boarding the ship to the attention to the smallest details while onboard.
top notch staff! fabulous cruise itinerary
Pros: top notch staff! fabulous cruise itinerary
Cons: sporadic hot water service and terrible internet service
Review: We have traveled to over 50 countries and eight cruises with five cruise lines. We booked this for the cruise itinerary and the excellent reputation of Regent. The staff is outstanding, helpful and welcoming. The captain kept us informed on pending weather and its implications for the ride. The ship is nice but it is due for a remodeling, especially the Chartreuse and Prime Seven dining rooms as well as inroom hot water service and ship internet service. The elevators were fast and efficient. The shore excursions were plentiful and varied. We went on an excursion every day they were offered and they were well planned with excellent transportation and guides. We had superb and also very average meals. The menus are available on the suite televisions and they are nicely varied in choice. The quality of the preparation varied. For the most part, the beef was not prime except for the beef tenderloin in the beef Wellington the last night (which was EXCEPTIONAL!) Our suite had a single sink (we prefer two sinks) and no ambient lighting in the bathroom at night and no 100 outlet in the bathroom for a nightlight.

Food, laundry service, excursions
Pros: Food, laundry service, excursions
Cons: Regent flight travel agency, Gastric disease on ship (pro, excessively cleaned it)
Review: Overall, wonderful trip. Food & services were great. Very knowledgeable tour guides, including making sure we didn't have to wait too long for anything. Loved that it was all inclusive, no nickel & diming once underway! Would definitely recommend it. That being said, Regent really needs to work on their flights; most guests (me included) complained about multiple hops. Although minimal, Regent really shouldn't charge to move to a better itinerary, since they don't get approval before booking.
The staff was always pleasant and did so much for us, with a smile. The food was very good.
Pros: The staff was always pleasant and did so much for us, with a smile. The food was very good.
Cons: The shower was too small. The deck was too small. The bath tub is wasted space.
Review: Regent completely failed on their transportation from the airport to the ship. We waited over two and a half hours at the airport, for a car to come and get us. After three phone calls, a person showed up. Told us to sit and wait and someone would come to transport us. Regent is not available by phone for help, or questions if it is after 5:00, and sometimes weekends. We arrived at the May Fair in London and the end of our cruise. We were told there would be a Regent associate at the hotel there was not. We had to call and reassure ourselves that we would have transportation to the airport the next day. No representative from Regent ever showed up, or contacted us at the hotel. The May Fair Hotel location is great. However, the room was a disappointment. No amenities, very low uncomfortable bed, The shower leaked onto the floor, no hair dryer. The view from our room was a piece of broken plywood.
Itinerary was great; on-board lecture series and entertainment were great. Cabin was great.
Pros: Itinerary was great; on-board lecture series and entertainment were great. Cabin was great.
Cons: Itinerary was changed and we missed an entire country. Tenders to most ports were a delaying factor every morning. Some of the excursions were closed to us and some of them were a waste of time.
Review: Ship is showing its age, but the cabin was very comfortable. Crew and staff were very accommodating. Food was solid. Travel arrangements were great. Excursions were uneven and some guides were good and others useless. No boxes to hear on excursions so guides had to yell.
Our flight and hotel accommodations were superb.
Pros: Our flight and hotel accommodations were superb.
Cons: Unfortunately on our flight back to USA we sat in the back rows of business class and had 4 screaming kids all 9 plus hours. Even the head phones didn’t help the chaos!
Review: Our trip was fabulous. The ship’s staff was very good. Our only disappointment was a ship’s staff worker at front desk was very rude to Ned. His name was Juan. The hurry up and wait on off shore tours can be annoying. One guide never showed up and half of our schooner trip was cancelled and sent back to ship. Also on a walking tour in Christiansand our guide was extremely slow and talked about inane things that didn’t apply to our tour. Finally around 9 of us took off on our own. Our butler and maid were wonderful along with the dining staff. All in all, a great trip.
The officers/staff, cuisine and venues, entertainment, the feeling of "coming home again!"
Pros: The officers/staff, cuisine and venues, entertainment, the feeling of "coming home again!"
Cons: Weather - Fog......but who can control that?
Review: While not one of the newer ships in the fleet, the Seven Seas Voyager still presents a luxury cruise experience. The officers and crew were some of the best I have sailed with. The cuisine and dining venues were excellent and I love the ability to experience the specialty restaurant luncheon cuisine in Compass rose every day. Even while Covid is still an issue, we found the sanitation protocols to be thoughtful and effective.....and we felt quite safe on the ship. The entertainment on this sailing was some of the best I've experienced in a while...a variety of pianist, comedian/magicians, an opera quartet, Beatles tribute band and the normal ship troupe. No complaints at all on this cruise....one of our favorites and great itinerary!
Service, Quality, Entertainment,Dining, Excursions!
Pros: Service, Quality, Entertainment,Dining, Excursions!
Cons: Confusing embarkation, multiple document checks, but obviously necessary
Review: Professional staff on all levels! Especially John, our Cruise Director. Beautiful ship, Excellent service. Ease and professionalism of all shore excursions. Interesting ports of call(Amalfi Coast, Cinque Terre, ect). Covid procedures exceptionally adhered.
Staff and food were amazing
Pros: Staff and food were amazing
Cons: Internet access was virtually non-functional
Review: LOVED this cruise. Unfortunately I still had to do a little work while onboard and the limited internet made it quite frustrating to get the work done quickly and efficiently.
Pros: No Pros
Cons: No Cons
Review: The service and all of the crew were truly outstanding in meeting our every need or request. The food in Compas Rose was always outstanding. We only ate in Prime 7 one time, and it was very good. Chartreuse was disappoining. The rack of lamb was looked like two small lamb chops with long boned. Our friends and people sitting at an adjacent table had the same very odd rack of lamb. On my next visit to Chartreuse I ordered the lobster, and was served what looked like a deep friend chunk of lobster meat- very disappointing. Others on ship I spoke to shared in my negative view of Chartreuse. The pre cruise first day site seeing tour was too much time on a bus, no toilet stops, and a totally disappoining experience such that we and many others did not go on the next day's site seeing tour.
This itinerary spent 3 days in Israel over Rosh Hashana- a wonderful experience!
Pros: This itinerary spent 3 days in Israel over Rosh Hashana- a wonderful experience!
Cons: "Included" internet was painfully slow.
Review: The ship was beautiful, but the best part was the staff. They were amazing. The service level exceeded all our expectations. Of course, it's hard to go wrong when everything is included - a great value! The included excursions were wonderful. The groups were not too large and the included excursions went to all the "must see" sights in every destination. We started in Athens, stopped in Rhodes, Cyprus, 3 days in Israel, Crete, Malta, Sicily, Naples, and ended in Civitavecchia.
Size of the boat and only 600 passengers. Food and accommodations were top notch.
Pros: Size of the boat and only 600 passengers. Food and accommodations were top notch.
Cons: Only complaint would be the WiFi. Very bad and very slow!
Review: This was the first time to cruise for a couple that went with us, and they are now hooked on cruising. Regent is an excellent cruise line.
All the standard pluses: good size cabin with balcony, good food options, plus major renovation within last year or so, and if showed. Compass Rose dining room update is fantastic.
Pros: All the standard pluses: good size cabin with balcony, good food options, plus major renovation within last year or so, and if showed. Compass Rose dining room update is fantastic.
Cons: Food very good, but seldom great. Not clear why not great, should be.
Review: We started in Venice with pre-cruise stay. Stayed at Kempinski San Clemente Palace. Off the charts! Former monastery on its own island in the lagoon. First class in all respects. We’ve cruised 3 times with Regent in the past. Have never seen so many families with children. Normally cruise Sept - Oct when schools in session may explain. Also, in the past nightly musical programs were always well attended. Not so this cruise. Hard to understand. Felt badly for the performers who were very good.
Lovely offsite excursions. Accomdations were excellent as was the food.
Pros: Lovely offsite excursions. Accomdations were excellent as was the food.
Cons: No opportunity to dinner off the ship except for the last night in Venice. Part of the fun for us is enjoying dinner off the ship!
Review: All in all, a wonderful 12 days on a marvelous ship with terrific staff and amenities!
Service, cabins, food and no long queues
Pros: Service, cabins, food and no long queues
Cons: Evening shows were not that great.
Review: The staff/crew were truly outstanding. Genuinely warm, friendly and eager to please. The ship is looking great - from all the common areas to the cabins! Elegant and refined. The food was excellent , especially Prime 7.
Enjoyed the cruise. Really loved the size of the room and the walk in closet
Pros: Enjoyed the cruise. Really loved the size of the room and the walk in closet
Cons: Some times the service at dinner was a little slow so we missed the entertainment
Review: Some of the paid tours did not live up to the added cost when you compare the value to the free excursions. Did mention the specific tour to the representative. Did not attend any shows as we dined too late. Also spent most of our time off the ship touring vs activity on the ship. Did play bingo.
The all inclusive experience is a good one. Almost all excursions were excellent.
Pros: The all inclusive experience is a good one. Almost all excursions were excellent.
Cons: Air arrangements were not so good. Docking in Haifa as opposed to Tel Aviv seemed crazy for several reasons.
Review:
Every aspect of cruise well organized and service enjoyed by all

Unusual itinerary, permitting visits to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela
Pros: Unusual itinerary, permitting visits to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela
Cons: Weather was not conducive to outdoor activities on the ship
Review: The trip was wonderful, as Regent trips always are. The staff is attentive, the amenities are all there and everything works (except the laundromat, part of the time), and the excursions are mostly included. We took two special extra-charge trips, one to Santiago and one to Bordeaux, but our on-board credits covered the costs, as well as paying for items from the gift shop and a massage. The entertainment was good, the spa and gym activities rather less than one finds on a larger ship. People as always are interesting and the lecturer covered very interesting and pertinent topics. We look forward to another Regent trip in the future.
onboard service; dining experience
Pros: onboard service; dining experience
Cons: hardward a bit "dated", but ship went into dry dock for refurbishment the day we got off
Review: The cruise offered a wonderful and unique itinerary that started with a relaxing day at sea, and included an overnight in Bordeaux, France; a visit to Bilbao and La Coruna, Spain; stops in Oporto and Lisbon, Portugal; sailing through the Straight of Gilbraltar; a visit to Cadiz (and Seville), Spain and another relaxing day at sea before arriving in Barcelona. The service aboard the Voyager was exceptional as always, and the food was equally wonderful. The entertainment on board was full of talented singers and dancers and was well received by all guests. We were blessed with great weather every day except one (rain for 1/2 day in Cadiz). The casino was pretty empty for most of the cruise, and the bars shut down most nights before midnight. The food and the service in the alternative dining venues was exceptional, but if you didn't make advance reservations, it was difficult to get in at the last minute.

Review: Had a fantastic time
All inclusive, all beautiful, all attentive staff, all veranda, loved it!
Pros: All inclusive, all beautiful, all attentive staff, all veranda, loved it!
Cons: none, it will be refurbed shortly (But didn't need too much attention)
Review: The Regent Voyager was our home for 12 nights in August 2016. We boarded in Southampton and sailed to Stockholm. We stopped in Bruges, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Riga, Tallinn, St. Petersburg, Helsinki and disembarked in Stockholm. The ports were amazing! My new favorites are Amsterdam and Tallinn. We had a group of 65 guests and from the agents feed back before I sailed I knew I was going to have a great group. We had celebrated several birthdays 2 major anniversaries, and we had a small unofficial renewal of vows while in St Petersburg during a special evening! The staff was great, the food was incredible, and the ship was in great shape, although it will be re furbished shortly, I didn't really see much wear and tear. So once she is out of dry dock in October she will be the belle of the ball! Overall I have enjoyed Regent Seven Seas cruises for my past 3 and I am a big fan! I love the included excursions, tips and cocktails. We always tip regardless , but the fact the no one is expecting it makes for a smooth and easy trip. Regent really is the most inclusive luxury experience out there!
Everything
Pros: Everything

The inclusiveness of this cruise and the fact it is a luxury cruise line lives up to all that can be imagined and more.

All inclusive, friendly service
Pros: All inclusive, friendly service
Cons: The ship is beginning to look a little worn, but will be refurbished in the fall.
Review: The Voyager is a wonderful ship. With 700 people it is a good size with enough activities and entertainment, and still not too large. The Smithsonian speaker onboard gave excellent talks prior to each port. Cabins are large with large walk in closets. I was in an aft cabin and had a lot of vibration at night. I was told all aft cabins, regardless of deck have this vibration problem.
Adventuresome guests, great dining, attentive, friendly waiters and staff in general, free shore excursions and all inclusive rate
Pros: Adventuresome guests, great dining, attentive, friendly waiters and staff in general, free shore excursions and all inclusive rate
Cons: Some ports quite far from city (2 hour drive) Some ports have little to see. SS Voyager has a considerable vibration problem on all decks in the aft part of the ship. It is most noticeable in the dining room and once in bed in the cabins.

Wonderful cruise with everything we wanted when we wanted it.
Pros: Wonderful cruise with everything we wanted when we wanted it.

Review: We do not care for pop music, so we didn't bother with the live entertainment. Everything else was wonderful.
Superior service and food. All inclusive approach made everything easy.
Pros: Superior service and food. All inclusive approach made everything easy.
Cons: Rating of how strenuous tours were was questionable in some cases.
Review: Our first experience with Regent could not have been better. Regent will be the cruise line of choice for future trips.
A five star Home away from home. Excellent food and service. Ports are very interesting with outstanding guides.
Pros: A five star Home away from home. Excellent food and service. Ports are very interesting with outstanding guides.
Cons: Mismanagement of large crowds with huge delays particularly in the post cruise organization. Would suggest omitting the post cruise extension and making private plans
Review: Wonderful cruise. One could not ask for more in terms of exposure to fine art, ancient history and civilizations, history, exposure to different cultured.
Great itinerary with over eight UNESCO World Heritage sites included in the shore excursions. All tour guides were excellent.
Pros: Great itinerary with over eight UNESCO World Heritage sites included in the shore excursions. All tour guides were excellent.
Cons: Port intense itinerary. Some folks may find the schedule a little too busy with not a lot of sea days/quiet time.
Review: Ports of call included Stockholm Sweden, Helsinki Finland, St. Petersburg Russia, Tallinn Estonia, Riga Latvia , Copenhagen Denmark, Amsterdam Netherlands, Bruges Belgium ending in London which we added extra days on as well as in Stockholm at the beginning. Russia, Sweden, Denmark & London are on their own currency but it is easy to use euros or U.S. Dollars. Except for London which requires the British pound or credit card with chip technology. The free shore excursions included with Regent were plentiful and diverse. There always seems to be a hidden gem port of call. This one happened to be Riga Latvia. We took a picturesque excursion to Turaida and Sigulda, the castles were outside of Riga in the countryside with beautiful gardens including a giant sculpture garden. We also had a stop at Gutmana cave. After the tour we spent some time on our own in old town a UNESCO World Heritage site. Strolling through the maze of cobblestone streets flanked by historic buildings, soaring church steeples, cafes and boutiques. We enjoyed Regent's Voyager very much. The suites were the best laid out suites we have encounter. Very large walk in closet off the hallway. Bathroom was large with separate bath tub and shower. Vanity area plus another mirrored area in the hallway giving extra space for storage. Good sitting area and balcony. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was always helpful and friendly. Regent makes sure every guest gets a least one dinner in both restaurants. If they have space you can get in other evenings. The maitre d' worked to satisfy requests for reservations when there were cancellations. The ship layout was good but we missed having a lounge overlooking the back of the ship outside and enjoy dining outside in La Veranda restaurant. The weather was incredibly good with sunny cool/warm days. We prefer the fresh air of eating al fresco. Unfortunately they only have space for a limited number of tables. Front lounge was always a hit with sail always. Coffee Connection was always a busy place. In the mornings they could use another area for coffee and quick bites.
Beautiful ship and high quality crew suite was magnificent
Pros: Beautiful ship and high quality crew suite was magnificent
Cons: Door lock was broke and unreparable for 10 days
Review: The weather didn't cooperate this trip as much as we would have liked and the door to the suite issues was a point of frustration. No attempt was made to try and offset this inconvenience with some sort monetary recognition or gift. I
All good
Pros: All good
Cons: I ate too much
Review: Staff and crew exceptional and always willing to help.
The staff is extremely accommodating - the suite and ship was kept immaculate - the butler was amazing - the itinerary was perfect with just enough sea days
Pros: The staff is extremely accommodating - the suite and ship was kept immaculate - the butler was amazing - the itinerary was perfect with just enough sea days
Cons: Ship internet is very slow and disconnects continually - got an intestinal bug from a dinner we ate in the desert
Review: Overall an truly unforgetable cruise - Regent still has it down as it relates to customer service, cleanliness, tours, food, and staff. I cannot say enough about the staff - they were absolutely amazing. They always a smile on their face and willing to go the extra mile. The tours were organized and the cruise director was a talented and entertaining man. The ship captain was readily accessible and very congenial. The ship doctor (had to visit due to a bug I caught eating food in the desert) was very kind and spent a lot of time with me. Fellow passengers (mostly British) were for the most part very happy as well (there are always a few that are complain about nothing)....the dress code on the ship is perfect - no mandatory formal nights.
Excellent food, service and accommodations. Love all inclusive.
Pros: Excellent food, service and accommodations. Love all inclusive.
Cons: This itinerary was hot and many ports did not have much to offer including many venues were not air conditioned.

Fascinating look at this part of the world; particularly interesting being in a Cmommunist country/China and then the hybrid Hong Kong and then the democratic/capitalistic culture of Japan
Pros: Fascinating look at this part of the world; particularly interesting being in a Cmommunist country/China and then the hybrid Hong Kong and then the democratic/capitalistic culture of Japan
Cons: Unexpectedly it was freezing cold; snowed in Beijing and food in China excursions away from trip not so good
Review:
All-Inclusive, excellent service, high passenger to space ratio, elegant yet contemporary and country club casual, superb dining
Pros: All-Inclusive, excellent service, high passenger to space ratio, elegant yet contemporary and country club casual, superb dining
Cons: Shore Excursion Access. Free Shore excursions tended to be basic ones and the sought after ones were waitlisted.

The Staff
Pros: The Staff
Cons: No wifi, and wished the coffee shop didn't close at 5pm every day.
Review: Ship is in good condition, with no wear and tear that I noticed. The staff were gracious and friendly. Food was wonderful. Loved Signature Restaurant the most.
Staterooms large and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Food and Service
Pros: Food and Service
Cons: Lack of Shore Excursions
Review:
The service is outstanding in all venues, from housekeeping, to dining, to sommelier, to Ships Officers. Captain John Mc Neil makes everyone feel special.
Pros: The service is outstanding in all venues, from housekeeping, to dining, to sommelier, to Ships Officers. Captain John Mc Neil makes everyone feel special.
Cons: The menus in the Compass Rose tend to repeat themselves frequently. The Signature Venue's menu is static. Their sauces overpower the food in many cases. Some of the common areas are showing wear and need to be re-freshed. IT issues should be addressed, since most guests want to keep in touch. For those that remain on board there should be more activities.
