Conveniently located in the pedestrian zone, only a few steps from the Landsgemeindeplatz, the Löwen’s pride and joy are nine special "Appenzeller" rooms, which feature hand-painted furniture typical of the region. Frankly, they are a little over-the-top for our taste. Though the hotel doesn’t measure up to the either the Säntis or the Appenzell, it offers more than adequate accommodations, clean and comfortable, with all the necessaries.
