Franconian main-dish specialties include Fränkisches Hochzeitsessen, the beef garnished with an apple-horseradish sauce (€13.90); Sauerbraten with apple-flavored red cabbage and potato dumplings (€12.80); and a Vitustöpfchen of pork medallions and little buttered Spätzle dumplings baked together with mushroom cream sauce, ham, and a topping of grated cheese (€14.90).
